PRESENTATION OF E.QU.A.L. AT THE MUTUAL LEARNING WORKSHOP OF THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION
Upon invitation of the European Commission, the E.QU.A.L. project was presented in one of the panel discussions of the Mutual Learning Workshop held in Rome from 11 to 13 April 2018. Claudio Vitali (Inapp), stressed that Italy has a regulatory framework and intervention policies able to adequately support the implementation of the strategy enshrined in the “Upskiling Pathways” recommendation. In the face of worrying data on the lack of basic literacy of the population, the lifelong learning system is undergoing its definitive consolidation. In this process, it is necessary to focus on the governance of a system that involves a plurality of institutional and socio-economic actors. In view of this challenge, E.QU.A.L. will act as a catalyst among the various stakeholders, making available to them the results of the study and analytical activities – both of the policies and of their implementation – and resources to invest in communication and awareness issues of the Recommendation.
